Background Information: LGI1 is one of the VGKC-complex antibodies. Antibodies to LGI1 are frequent in limbic encephalitis with low plasma sodium and often associated with a particular seizure type called faciobrachia dystonic seizures (Irani et al Ann Neurol 2011).
