The routine urine toxicology screen includes the following:

LCMS analysis:

  • Morphine
  • 6-monoacetyl morphine (metabolite of heroin)
  • Codeine
  • Dihydrocodeine
  • Amphetamines
  • Methamphetamines
  • MDA
  • MDMA
  • MDEA
  • Benzoylecgonine (metabolite of cocaine)
  • EDDP (metabolite of methadone)
  • Methadone

Immunoassay analysis:

  • Benzodiazepines (if unexpected positive, please contact lab to arrange confirmation by LCMS at referral lab)

Other compounds which can be specifically requested in addition to the urine toxicology screen:

  • Buprenorphine (Immunoassay)
  • Cannabis (Immunoassay)
  • Gabapentin and Pregabalin (sent to referral laboratory for analysis by LCMS)
